1. GNS – Grant Request
Decision Required: Whether to approve.

This grant request for $2,000 is for a REAL garden.  See attached grant request.

2. Grant Request – Food Forest - Kilmer Street Park
Decision Required: Whether to approve.

This grant request is to enable garden plantings at Kilmer Street Park.  Staff has prepared a scenario for consideration by the Mayor and Council as the basis for adoption as part one of an overall Master Plan.

3. Lawrence Woodworth Park Playground Proposals
Decision Required: The next step in approval process.

The Town of Cheverly’s FY19 Program Open Space Program project is for playground improvements at Laurence Woodworth Park.  Staff has solicited input from various playground equipment suppliers.  The findings will be presented and the next step in the process determined.

4. Code Enforcement Process – Grass
Decision Required: None.

The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address.  Attached is the Policy and Procedures regarding the Town’s actions related to tall grass violations as well as the governing Town Code Sections.

8.  Discussion LED Street Lights
Decision Required:  Whether to execute a Memorandum Of Understanding with Pepco.

Staff has been in consultation with Pepco since discussing LED street lighting with representatives at the MML Conference. Pepco wants to prepare prices and documentation regarding such a conversion.  The Mayor and Council need to proceed.  Details and answers to questions will be provided by the Town Administrator at the meeting.

12. Employee Recognition
Decision Required: Whether to accept the Town Administrator’s recommendation.

Attached is a memorandum from the Chief of Police regarding an employee’s efforts above and beyond her assigned duties.  The Town Administrator is endorsing the Chief’s request for recognition.
